Cookie Policy
How Contacts Plus LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on contactsplus.com — the categories we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They’re widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, and local storage; in this policy we refer to all of these as “cookies.”
Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Enable core functionality such as security, network management, account login, and remembering your cookie choices. The site cannot function properly without these. | Always on (no consent required) |
| Functional | Remember choices you make (e.g., language, region) to provide enhanced, personalized features. | Opt-in (EU/EEA) |
| Analytics / performance | Help us understand how visitors use the site (e.g., pages visited, time on site) so we can improve it. Includes Google Analytics. | Opt-in (EU/EEA) · opt-out (US) |
| Advertising / targeting | Used to measure marketing campaigns and, where applicable, deliver more relevant messaging (e.g., LinkedIn Insight). | Opt-in (EU/EEA) · opt-out (US) |

Your consent & legal basis
For visitors in the EU/EEA and the UK, non-essential cookies are set only after you give consent through our cookie banner, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR Article 7. For California residents, you may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information associated with advertising/analytics cookies, per CCPA Section 1798.120. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals due to the lack of a common standard.
Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- On our site: use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer to reopen the consent center and adjust each category.
- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
- Opt-out tools: you can opt out of Google Analytics via Google’s browser add-on, and manage interest-based advertising via industry tools such as the DAA and Your Online Choices.
